Cross Country Home Services (CCHS) was honored twice at the 2014 Golden Bridge Awards for Business and Innovation in San Francisco. We took home the silver Training and Education award and the bronze Management Team of the Year award, marking our company as a true industry leader in customer service and innovative employee training.
CCHS’ South Carolina-based management team was awarded the bronze for its true customer service spirit, which resulted in year-over-year increased Net Promoter Scores, a national customer service indicator that measures whether customers would recommend the company to family and friends. The team was also recognized for its Operation Appliance Aid program, presenting veteran families with new appliances, fostering goodwill in the community; resulting in a stronger, and customer service-driven team.
Last year, four employees were able to leave their job for 12 months to immerse themselves in the G.E.A.R. program (goals, engagement, accountability, results) which merited a silver Training and Education award. Diving in full force, participants trained with various business units throughout the company and learned the processes, skills, and developmental feedback to gain a better understanding of the day-to-day operations of CCHS. By grasping the bigger picture, the trainees were motivated to provide better customer service as future leaders of our company and of the home warranty industry as a whole.
